How about IP lookup which identifies and bans posts from offending IP addreses.

E.g, if you reply to a lower level reply. Think a reply of a reply or if you replied to the mail email.This would greatly cut down on the noise and isolate the bad threads.Secondly, apply the same logic to Job posts. Identify via machine learning, emails that are job related. Also implement a similar set of rules, if you in the past have replied to job postings etc.
