Why wouldn't an American lawyer servicing American clients charge American prices?

What if the lawyers are American lawyers living outside of the U.S.

Outsourcing carefully chosen, limited legal work can be done by very experienced lawyers.?

?

Outsourcing legal work by non-lawyers, in my view, it is very unlikely to be of value, carries big risks and is a very bad idea.? Just as a start, they don?t know US law, culture, parlance or business climate.? For the outsourced people off-shore, it could be illegal, depending on what they do, so any company in India of any size or reputation probably won?t touch it.

Can any type of legal work be offshored?? With the incredible expense

associated with legal work in the US, it would seem like a natural

thing to try and do, at least on some scale.? Perhaps the research

part of it?

I think the medical field is seeing a bit with medical tourism, and a

few other types.
