Follow-up to 9/11 anniversary events (, which some of us will have attended (although attendance at the 9/11 anniversary events is NOT a prerequisite to attending this meeting) (More up-to-date info about the events themselves can be found here (

Topic: Our main topic will be to discuss various ways that New Yorkers can support an independent investigation of 9/11, or support other efforts to compel an end to the coverups.

For more information, including links to information about Sibel Edmonds and other 9/11 whistleblowers, please see Meeting topic: What can New Yorkers do to support an independent investigation of 9/11? ( on our main website.

NYARBB's position: NYARBB supports an independent investigation (with subpoena power) of what the U.S. government was and was not doing on and before 9/11, while at the same time we oppose the religiously-bigoted grand conspiracy ideology that has attached itself to some sectors of the 9/11 Truth movement.

When calling for an investigation, we take a relatively mainstream approach, without advocating "inside job" theories -- about which our members are likely to hold a variety of different opinions. Regardless of what we may believe was covered up, we can unite in opposing the coverups that have been acknowledged even by official sources and which pertain to an event that resulted in massive violation of the human rights of many Muslims. Even if no one in the U.S. government was guilty of anything worse than incompetence, those who screwed up so royally should be held accountable.

At the same time, we are strongly opposed to "conspiracy theory" in the sense of religiously bigoted grand conspiracy ideology. For more about NYARBB's take on these issues, please see:
