Astrology and Past Lives: Seeing the Soul

Pisces season is a ripe time to explore the rich question of astrology of reincarnation. Join us and guest Katie Sweetman for a talk about how your moment of birth reveals what you bring into your present life from the past.

During the meetup’s first half, Katie will lead a talk on exploring various places in the chart one can find clues of past lives and the soul’s journey. Some astrologers exclusively focus on the south node to reveal previous incarnations. However, there is a long tradition in esoteric astrology of analyzing more than just the nodal axis, looking to planets in the 12th house as well as the placements of Saturn and beyond, including Chiron. The way that these different significators come together, conflict, or diverge, reveals a more nuanced and textured story of the soul’s journey beyond cookbook definitions of the south node by sign, house, or in aspect to a planet. Even the natal chart itself helps one to connect to the akashic plane, like a key, and access the library at the heart of the soul.

During the meetup’s second half, Katie will share some case studies from her work with clients on how she put her insights about past lives and astrology to work to inspire and galvanize growth.
