Reading Charts for Others: Counseling with Astrology

There is someone sitting across from you, eyes wide open, eagerly wanting to know “What does my chart say about me?” How do you connect with someone who wants to know more? How do you share insights that will, hopefully, galvanize them in the days and months to come? How can we point them in the direction of a healthier, evolving and fulfilling life path by interpreting the meaning of the astrological symbols in their chart? OK. You know the planets & signs & houses & rulerships & aspects, but this isn’t theory. This is a live human being. How do you connect? Where do you begin?

One of the most important parts for doing a birth chart reading is not how well you know astrology, but how well you know and understand people. Knowing astrology gives you a powerful set of tools, but understanding how to reach a client is the goal. Seasoned astrologer Anthony S. Picco discusses what he considers many useful methods of handling clients to create an open, comfortable relationship. All levels of astrology students will be able to enjoy and understand this talk.

Anthony Picco has been a professional astrologer since 1986. He also offers informal beginners’ lessons and hosts a popular internet radio show called “CosmicTuesdays” every Monday evening from 9:30pm-11pm Eastern Time, at https://www.spreaker.com/show/cosmic-tuesdays

Anthony has appeared on a panel discussion on Brooklyn Cable Access, appeared a number of times on “Practical Astrology” on BlogTalkRadio’s Angels & Warriors station with host Dawn Tevy, and as a guest, and then co-host on Sharita Star’s “What’s Your Sign? I Have Your Number”. He has also lectured on The Eyes of Learning, “Long Island’s Oldest and Most Respected Teaching and Metaphysical Learning Center,” in Levittown, NY, on The Seth Material, which he has been studying since 1982. DIRECTIONS
The meetup takes place at the Theosophical Society, next door to the Quest Bookshop. Enter through the door to the left of the bookshop. A sign will be posted on this door, which opens at 6:30 PM. The Meetup will start at 7 PM sharp.
