NYC Coders is hacking in partnership with the Knowledge House bc Black Lives Matter. Join us for our inaugural hacakthon where we build tools alongside tech professionals in the industry to help keep the peace and raise awareness for inequality. If you're a software developer, product manager, designer, or data engineer in the industry, see how you can help our initiative below:

JUNIOR DEVELOPERS:

Bring your huge brains and novel ideas to the table to help the next generation of humans be on EQUAL footing. You'll get a chance to pitch your ideas, join a team, develop your MVP, and build it out, all while making some new friends and meeting amazing mentors along the way :-)

SENIOR DEVELOPERS:

You have the option to participate on a team as a senior software engineer and qualify for prizes OR join as a project manager where you'll help manage up to 4 teams and your prize is the satisfaction of knowing you helped oversee some awesome projects for a great cause

PRODUCT MANAGERS:

Your role will be to help manage up to 4 teams. You'll lead daily stand-ups and oversee the assignment of tasks using project management software.

DESIGNERS:

Engineers suck at CSS! Help up to 4 teams polish their ideas with eye-catching mock-ups/designs so their apps don't fail to impress the judges!

DATA ENGINEERS:

Data will be crucial to many of the apps pitched by our members. Help up to 4 teams organize and visualize data by guiding them with the tools necessary to give their apps a serious edge.
