About us
Welcome to our NYC Outdoor Badminton family, where everyone is welcome, whatever your age, fitness level, badminton skills, or planet of origin. We've got nets and extra rackets for you to borrow, and there'll be a picnic blanket filled with food. Bring plenty of water for hydration, energy food to keep your motor running, and sunscreen for healthy, youthful looking skin.
Off the top of my head, the words that describe our group are fun-loving, accepting, hilarious, respectful, safe and fartlek (meaning "speed play" in Swedish, and also, it's just a funny word).

Of course, you're welcome to use your own equipment if you prefer. 🎒 It is optionally recommended to bring water for hydration 💦, energy food 🍫 to keep your motor running, and sunscreen for healthy skin under the sun 🌞.
There are lots of beginners and newcomers each weekend, so if you're one of these, don't worry.

While we’re working on the best plan for everyone, we kindly ask you to hold back on weather updates and let us do the worrying for you. 😉
