Welcome to our NYC Outdoor Badminton family 👋, where everyone is welcome 😊, whatever your age 🥳, fitness level 🏋️‍♂️, badminton skills 🏸, or planet of origin. 🌎 We are fun-loving 🎉, accepting 👌, hilarious 🤣, respectful 🙏, safe 💕 and fartlek (meaning "speed play" in Swedish, and also, it's just a funny word to say.)

We've got nets and extra rackets for you to borrow, and picnic blankets for you to sit on in and make new friends 😁. Bring plenty of water for hydration 💦, energy food 🍫 to keep your motor running, and sunscreen for healthy skin 🌞. There are lots of beginners and newcomers each weekend, so if you're one of these, don't worry. You'll be in good company, and everyone is really nice and friendly! 🥰
