A Meander Through Bushwick

It has been simply years since we visited this colorful Brooklyn neighborhood so I’m thinking it’s a good time to take a short ride on the L train out to Jefferson Street Station once again.

We'll meet on the corner at Jefferson Street and Wyckoff Avenue near the entrance of the Jefferson Street L train subway station at 12:00 noon.

Bushwick, always a fun area to photograph, is famous for it's wonderful collection of street art and graffiti mostly created quite legally by the “Bushwick Collective” and which can be found on the walls of many local streets. There is also a large mostly industrial area nearby that we can wander too which is also quite interesting and photogenic.

Later after shooting we can stop at a local restaurant which are plentiful in this area for refreshment and a bite to eat.

Any and all cameras from professional models to cell phones are welcome. Folks at all levels of expertise are also welcome at our free and inclusive events.

Don't forget your charged batteries and empty memory cards. Tripods are not needed on this photo-walk. Good comfortable walking shoes are a must.

Please be on time! The NYC Subway System is a hellscape of unimaginable delays that will wreak havoc on your mind, body, schedule, and soul. Plan your trip with some extra time! Please note that this Meetup is is based on the the L train actually running that weekend as I am not too sure how we would get there if it isn’t. Fingers crossed!
