Facilitating Retrospectives using "Focused Conversations"

Details
This month marks the 8th anniversary of the NYC Scrum User Group! That's right - our community was established back in October of 2009 and has been going strong ever since!
To celebrate this momentous occasion, at our meeting this month there will be cake! And Rob Purdie (the founder of our group) will join us to facilitate our annual retrospective.
We're meeting at the J.P. Morgan Conference Center, which sounds like it can hold a lot of people, so everybody be there! If you've ever been to a meeting of the NYC Scrum User Group (and even if you haven't) come to this one, and together, based on what we've learned over the last 8 years, we will collaboratively decide where we want to go next!
New schedule this month. We're opening doors at 5:30pm, and will begin the program/activities at 6:00pm to accommodate a speaker's schedule. We'll be back to the usual schedule in November.
Please RSVP with your full name. JPMorgan requires first and last names for each attendee, so please make sure your Meetup profile (either "Name" or "User ID" (https://www.meetup.com/help/customer/portal/articles/1233373-change-my-name/?set_mobile=off)) includes both.
Each attendee will be required to show a photo ID to gain admission to the venue. Only attendees on the RSVP list will be admitted.
If your RSVP includes guest(s), please ask them to RSVP in their own name or message the organizers (by noon 10/17, via the Meetup Message tool) with names we can manually add to the list.
The NYC Scrum User Group meets on the third Thursday of every month to talk about Scrum, to share experiences, to network, and to provide support for local Scrum practitioners.
Interested in telling your own story? If you have an idea you would like to share, come see us at the Meetup, or tell us about it here: https://www.papercall.io/nyc-sug
