NYC Short Film Club -Short Filmmaking Fall Kick-Off for New Members - VIRTUAL

Note: This meeting is open to new members joining our club! This is a NEW ROUND of short filmmaking, so if new to the group you MUST attend this or next week's meetup to have access to our upcoming project meetups, or wait until the next round begins- could likely be end of the Fall. However, if you miss the meeting DM me, Laura, the organizer and I will get you up to speed.
This club's filmmaking meetings are via zoom every Thursday 7:30-9:30pm and we also have a screenwriter's meetup twice a month! For filming, we meet in-person at one location of all-day filming on a weekend day. You can either participate virtually or in-person. Each short will need an in-person onset crew of approx. 10-15 members.

Hi new and old NYC Film Club members!

Join us Thursday night- we'll meet virtually via Zoom link to start brainstorming and strategizing broad ideas for our upcoming filmmaking project! We'll cover all the established club basics to get new members up to speed and refresh previous members.

This is a hands-on, fun type of filmmaking club to meet others who want to make short films, and attend hands-on workshops to get our 'crew' warmed-up, working together, problem solving onset, and learning what works and what doesn't. This is a great social club and creative outlet for filmmakers of all skillsets and backgrounds and is a great way to hone your skills or try out new ones!
No need to have any experience- this is a fun and impassioned hobbyist/ recreational group. All feedback and levels of experience are welcome. Message below if you have any questions!
