Note: This meeting is open to new members joining our club! This is a NEW SEASON of short filmmaking, so if new to the group you MUST attend this meetup to have access to our upcoming projects, writing, and film challenge meetups, or wait until the next new member meeting likely June. If you miss the meeting, DM me, Laura the organizer and I will get you up to speed.
This club's meetings are via zoom on specific Thursdays 7:30-9/9:30pm for filmmakers and Mondays/Wednesdays for writers. Schedule is listed in our discord. For filming, we meet in-person at one location of all-day filming on a weekend day. You can either participate virtually or in-person-whatever works best for your schedule and life. Each short will need an in-person onset crew of approx. 10-15 members.

Hi new and old NYC Film Club members!
Join us Thursday night- we'll meet virtually via Zoom link for our upcoming new round of zero/no budget filmmaking! We'll cover all the established club basics to get new members up to speed and refresh previous members.

This is a hands-on, fun type of filmmaking club to meet others who want to make short films, and attend hands-on workshops to get our 'crew' warmed-up, working together, problem solving onset, and learning what works and what doesn't. This is a great social club and creative outlet for filmmakers of all skillsets and backgrounds and is a great way to hone your skills or try out new ones!
No need to have any experience- this is a fun and impassioned hobbyist/ recreational group. All feedback and levels of experience are welcome. Message below if you have any questions!
