About us
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” — Mark Twain
What is meaning of Soulventures? A phenomenon of seeking and fueling one’s soul with life experiences through adventures to enrich and fulfill one’s inner self. These adventures often involve stepping outside of one’s comfort zone, embracing new challenges, and cultivating a mindset of curiosity and self-discovery and can encompass a wide range of activities, from travel and exploration to creative pursuits and acts of service, all aimed at expanding personal growth and a deeper connection to one’s purpose and values.
Who we are: a social group is for those New Yorkers looking to escape from the 9 to 5 grind and the vicissitudes of living life in the concrete jungle, to break away from the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary with fun, exciting and YOUnique adventures and escapades with new friends who share your vibrational frequency and living a YOUnique life with sass, spice, and flare.
Our events: In this group, we aim to accomplish great things! Climb that mountain! Book that ticket! Take that weekend journey to explore a town you’ve never been to before. Try that new cuisine! Learn a new skill! Volunteer for a worthy cause! Hiking, walks in park, dining out, Broadway shows, museums, happy hours, movie nights, wine tasting, brewery tours, day trips, weekend getaway ... and for the adrenaline junkies, tell your fear to hold your beer because you’re about to jump off that perfectly good airplane! Carpe Diem Baby!
Why You Should Join Us: Our philosophy is simple … be positive, have fun and enjoy the moments and memories we will be building together. You only have one life to live, so make the best of that life! Life is too short to not live it to the fullest. Join us if you're up for living life in the moment and exploring the endless possibilities that come our way. Let's have fun, and make some incredible memories along the way!
Don't worry about coming to our events by yourself. RSVPs to all our events will be kept to no more than 20, taking into consideration those last minute cancellations. This way you will know everyone’s name and they will know yours. Everyone will have fun and hopefully go home having had a memorable time. As long as you are open to adventures, maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to try new things ... we want to meet you!
Getting there: No cars? No problemo. All our activities are not limited to just the NYC area, but are and can be located all over the map… north to Hudson Valley and east to Long Island, over the river to New Jersey, all reachable by public transportation via Metro-North, Long Island Railroad, New Jersey Transit and Amtrak, as well as MTA bus and subway.

Hail to POTUS 32 Day Trip
Location not specified yetSpring has sprung! Let’s head north to go visit Hyde Park, NY, and visit the FDR Presidential Library and Museum. We’ll tour his family home Springwood, as well as tour Val-Kill, home of the legendary First Lady of the World, Eleanor Roosevelt. We will also visit his and Eleanor's gravesite to pay our respects to POTUS 32. He died April 12, 1945.
First stop on our day's agenda: The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum holds the records of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the 32nd president of the United States (1933–1945). Located on the grounds of Springwood, the Roosevelt family estate in Hyde Park, New York, the library was built under the President's personal direction in 1939–1940, and dedicated on June 30, 1941. It is the first presidential library in the United States and one of the thirteen presidential libraries under the auspices of the National Archives and Records Administration.
You can read more about the Library --------> HERE and HERE
While we're at the Library, we'll also visit Springwood. This is the birthplace and home of FDR. It is the only place in the United States where a President was born, maintained a lifelong connection, and lies buried. FDR had a strong and abiding connection with Springwood throughout his life. The house is situated in a landscaped clearing on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River, is a large, rambling structure faced with stucco and fieldstone.
Read more about Springwood -------> HERE and HERE
We'll also visit Val-Kill, the home of Eleanor Roosevelt. It was the only place that she ever could call her own. In the large, comfortable “Val-Kill Cottage” preserved at the Eleanor Roosevelt National Historic Site, she could entertain whoever she wanted, stay up reading as late as she liked, and be alone if she chose. Here, in the tranquil and relaxed atmosphere of Val-Kill, Franklin and Eleanor also entertained friends, state visitors, the press, and their associates during his administration.
