Comforting Japanese-Italian food in a bar setting
Yelp Listing: 4.4/5 /393 reviews
Google Rating: 4.5/627 reviews
Izakaya Fuku is one of my favorite, if not my favorite izakayas in the city. This place specializes in Wafu pasta, a fusion of Japanese and Italian ingredients, such as the pictured mentaiko pasta. There is also a large and reasonably priced sake, beer, cocktail, and soft drink selection, as expected for an izakaya.

Expected price: $35-45 (likely 40)

Menu for 5.
Spicy Menma- Bamboo shoots with spicy oil
Hamachi Yuzu Kosho- Yellowtail, scallion, and Japanese spice with soy sauce and sake
Kar-age- Deep-fried chicken
Creamy Mentai Bacon Pasta- Spaghetti with creamy spicy cod roe and bacon
Udon Carbonara- Udon noodles, bacon, onion, mushroom, egg, and parmesan cheese
Creamy Zuwaikani Pasta- Snow crab with spicy spaghetti sauce topped with salmon roe
Unagi Don- Grilled whole eel with teriyaki sauce, egg roll, and pickle served over rice

Directions- Take the 7, E, or R to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue, and walk 5 minutes. The E is the quickest
