This is a part of the 10-day long Arizona Trip that I am planning (https://www.meetup.com/nycmobsters/events/233620556/). You can join either for a part of the trip or the entire length of the trip, depending on your schedule.
Havasupai means "people of the blue green water".
Havasupai is considered the most beautiful place in the lower 48 (http://www.placestoseeinyourlifetime.com/swim-under-the-havasu-falls-in-grand-canyon-usa-2752/)!

The Plan:
Day 1 (Mon Sept 18, 2017): We will start the hike super early in the morning, around 6 AM (which is 9 AM NY time). Hike 8 miles (downhill) to the Supai village, get a few last minute items if we forget something, eat early lunch at a restaurant, then hike another 2 miles to our campsite in Havasupai Falls.
Estimated arrival time at the camp: 10AM - 11AM
Spend the rest of the day exploring the waterfalls once our camp is set up. There are five Havasupai waterfalls (http://waterfallsofthegrandcanyon.com/havasu-falls/havasupai-waterfalls/) where we can do cliff jumping, swimming, etc!
Day 2 (Tues Sept 19, 2017): Spend the day relaxing and exploring the waterfalls.
Day 3 (Wed Sept 20, 2017): We will start our return hike back up (uphill) to the trailhead (10 miles) at around 1 PM. There are two waterfalls on the way that we can explore.
+/-2,300' Elevation change.
You will have an option to pay $20 one way for a helicopter to pick up your heavy backpack from trailhead to Supai Village and vice versa and you will be able to hike-in or out 8 miles each way with a light day-pack. You also can fly in or out that 8 miles with a helicopter by paying $80 each way.
You can also use mule to carry in-out your duffel bag of up to 32 lbs, but I do not recommend using mule service on this trip.
