PDCs in Europe

From: Mihail
Sent on: Saturday, May 18, 2013 4:01 AM
I have put together an e-mail to advertise the open PDCs I'm doing this year... could you send it out into your networks?

Hello!

I am now on my last leg of the “tipi tour” – and I am so happy with it! It is showing a lot of potential for the future and I can’t wait to make more! More and more people are interested in living comfortably close to Nature and a Tipi is a perfect way to do it! J J If you haven’t yet seen the video I made in Norway, you can check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3ARerBuG0s

It’s now time for me to think about the SUMMER. Below, I have listed all of the PDCs I am booked to teach so far. The exciting locations include…

  • A beautiful horse farm in Czystogarb, POLAND – June 7th to 23rd
  • Another beautiful farm in Tuscany, ITALY – July 12th to August 1st
  • A breath-taking retreat center in the Rhodopi Mountains in BULGARIA – August 16th to September 1st.

If you could please browse through the information and links provided to see if any of these events suit you or your friends. Send it around! Let it go viral! If you don’t know it yet, I’m an awesome PDC teacher and have selected truly awesome people to work with this year. I’m hoping that through this, I can even meet more like-minded folks to expand the network and give permaculture some serious professional credibility in this world! We’re getting there, guys! The shift has begun, I feel it J

Once again, if you can’t make it, maybe a friend of yours can. Please send it out and I shall sprinkle you with gratitude from wherever I am to wherever on this lovely planet you are.

I’m here to answer any questions about these events – you can even email me personally at [address removed]

Best Regards,

Mihail K

Fundacja Transformacja invites you to join the first Permaculture Design Certification (PDC) course offered in Poland! A PDC course covers a broad overview of topics to assist people increating a healthy, ecologically ethical lifestyle. Many people across the world have invested in the experience of a PDC course to gather knowledge and extend their connections to people with similar goals, aspirations and projects in mind.

I’m teaching with Lukasz Nowacki, an experienced permaculture teacher local in Poland. This course is located in the southern countryside on a beautiful horse farm near to Czystogarb – the name of the place is called Chutir… here’s their website:www.chutir.eu

Participants of this course get practical hands-on training in...

  • gardening and garden design
  • natural building
  • infrastructure design
  • economic planning
  • social issues

The connections created during the event open opportunities for future collaborations among teachers and participants, both on a personal and professional level, propelling the sustainability movement forward.

The course will be in English with translation

“SUMMER IN TUSCANY” Permaculture Design Course

Location: Sorano, Italy (www.aiadeltufo.com)

Dates: July 12th to August 1st

Cost: 350 Euro (meals and accommodation not included)

This is a 72-hour course modeled after Bill Mollison’s “Permaculture Designer’s Manual” – it covers all the basic ethics, principles, practices and concepts of permaculture, as well as go into detail for particularities of the Tuscan climate. It introduces common methods and terminology used in permaculture to design anything from a piece of land to an urban dwelling to a gardening workshop to a revolution.

Students will get the opportunity to share knowledge with an experienced team of teachers, while also participating in plenty of practical exercises on the farm. This course will discuss the ecological, social and economic aspects of permaculture, giving the participants a chance to create their own design of a permaculture systen and receive feedback from the teachers and the class.

This is a good first step for anyone who seeks to integrate permaculture design in their day-to-day lives.

This course will be taught in English with translation into Italian, if needed.
