Deer Spirit Free Conference Call Reiki Circle w/ Geordie

Greetings Dear Friends,

I began offering this event during the pandemic lockdown as a way for my Reiki students and colleagues to connect virtually, meditate, practice self treatment and share distant Reiki. It quickly became very popular and served as a replacement for my in-person Reiki circle which I had offered regularly in NYC since 2006. I am now offering the in-person circle at Moxi Wellness on the 1st Saturday of every month, 12:45 - 3pm, rsvp required)

In order to participate, rsvp via meetup or via the contact form on the contact page of my website. When I receive your rsvp I will send you the conference call numbers. Donations are not required but if you would like to donate you can send it via Venmo to Geordie-Numata, via Zelle to geordie@deerspritreiki.com or via PayPal by clicking the Buy Now Button on my contact page.

The circle is open to the general public as well as all Reiki students. I will lead a meditation in which Reiki students are guided through self treatment protocols and distant Reiki for each other as well as distant healing for world peace.

Deer Spirit Reiki Circle was born on the Spring Equinox in 2006 and is regularly attended by many of my students and friends. Over the years, hundreds of people have been introduced to the wonderful healing power of Reiki at the circle and many have taken Reiki training with me. This will be held every Monday night and is open to the general public. You do not have to have taken a Reiki class to attend and receive Reiki. If you are attuned to Reiki, any level or lineage, you are welcome to join.

Reiki is a Japanese healing touch technique in which the practitioner channels healing energy through their hands which is subtle, gentle and warm. It heals by helping the recipient enter a deeply relaxed state in which harmony and balance is restored for all aspects - physical, mental emotional and spiritual. The Reiki healing techniques that we practice today originated with a Japanese man named Mikao Usui (1865 - 1926). Usui was a very spiritual man who wanted to achieve the highest state of enlightenment. He practiced Zen meditation for 3 years, then went to a sacred mountain in Japan to do a meditation and fasting retreat. On his 21st day of the retreat he achieved total enlightenment and gained the ability to heal with his hands. Reiki is now the most popular spiritual healing touch modality in the world.
