NYC Reiki & Spiritual Healing Events

I began offering this event during the pandemic lockdown as a way for my Reiki students and colleagues to connect virtually, meditate, practice self treatment and share distant Reiki. It quickly became very popular and served as a replacement for my in-person Reiki circle which I had offered regularly in NYC since 2006. I am now offering the in-person circle at Moxi Wellness on the 1st Saturday of every month, 5pm - 7:15pm, rsvp required)

The circle is open to the general public as well as all Reiki students. I will lead a meditation in which Reiki students are guided through self treatment protocols and distant Reiki for each other as well as distant healing for world peace.

Deer Spirit Reiki Circle was born on the Spring Equinox in 2006 and is regularly attended by many of my students and friends. Over the years, hundreds of people have been introduced to the wonderful healing power of Reiki at the circle and many have taken Reiki training with me. This will be held every Monday night and is open to the general public. You do not have to have taken a Reiki class to attend and receive Reiki. If you are attuned to Reiki, any level or lineage, you are welcome to join.

Reiki is a Japanese healing touch technique in which the practitioner channels healing energy through their hands which is subtle, gentle and warm. It heals by helping the recipient enter a deeply relaxed state in which harmony and balance is restored for all aspects - physical, mental emotional and spiritual. The Reiki healing techniques that we practice today originated with a Japanese man named Mikao Usui (1865 - 1926). Usui was a very spiritual man who wanted to achieve the highest state of enlightenment. He practiced Zen meditation for 3 years, then went to a sacred mountain in Japan to do a meditation and fasting retreat. On his 21st day of the retreat he achieved total enlightenment and gained the ability to heal with his hands. Reiki is now the most popular spiritual healing touch modality in the world.

Greetings!
I'm teaching Reiki Master Teacher classes on Sat., April 25th & Sun., April 26th, 10:00am - 5:30pm with a 45 min. lunch break. These classes will be taught online on the Webex video conference platform. The classes are taught in the International Center for Reiki Training William Lee Rand Usui / Tibetan lineage.

In order to register for these classes, you must have taken Reiki Levels 1, 2, & 3 with me or another professional Reiki teacher and know your 5 Reiki Principles, Reiki history, basic Reiki techniques, 3 Reiki Level 2 symbols and 1 Reiki Level 3 symbol and have some experience giving Reiki treatment to yourself and others.

The fee for the 2 days of classes is $450 with a $120 deposit. In this training you will receive one attunement to the 2 Tibetan symbols, learn how to give all the teaching attunements and a type of attunement that is only given for healing. There will also be meditation and treatment practice in the classes. The attunement and teachings of this class will prepare you to start your own teaching practice. Many of my students have begun teaching Reiki after completing this training with me. I also offer my Reiki Master Teacher Apprenticeship Program for those who would like to co - teach with me and receive regular private coaching sessions. • co - founder along with Peter Panken L.Ac of the monthly Free Clinic For Recovery in which we provide acupuncture, Reiki, massage and reflexology to under - served and marginalized populations in NYC. ( I supervise a team of about 10 Reiki volunteers)
• part time staff at the Lower East Side Harm Reduction Center and The Alliance For Positive Change providing Reiki and ear acupuncture to people with history of drug addiction, HIV positive. mental illness diagnosis or homeless. Supervise team of 6 Reiki providers.
• well known in NYC area and internationally as a teacher, healer, astrologer and spiritual counselor.
