Beginner-friendly Kayak Polo

PLEASE SIGN UP AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE! We will need to cancel sessions that do not have at least 6 people signed up. (But also, try not to change your RSVP with less than 48 hours notice, as we will lose money or waste expensive pool time if we cancel late or have too few people show up.)

This session will be a good opportunity to get introduced to the sport. We have all the gear you will need, so just bring shorts and a shirt that you will be comfortable swimming in. Low-profile water shoes will also help protect and pad your feet inside the boat. If you have not played with us before, expect to learn/demonstrate how to safely exit your boat when it is capsized. (Or show off your roll if you’ve got it!) Either way, you will get wet :)

Please arrive at 3pm to change and begin setting up the pool and goals once the previous group has cleared the area. Play needs to stop by 5:00, so that we can set the pool back up for swimming, shower & change, and exit the building before it closes at 6:00pm.

You can try one session for free. After that, if you have not paid season/annual club dues, the single-session event fee is $25.
