Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
This talk will introduce many of the new features available in the
recently-released Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8. Patrick will
cover a multitude of topics including Application Streams, Image
Builder, in-place upgrade tool, Insights, container tools (featuring the all-new Universal Base Image), new security features, Ansible-powered System Roles, the web console, and the virtual data optimizer.
The talk will provide an overview of each of these features, with a
focus on what we mean when we say that Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
provides a "faster time to 'Hello World'" for your environment.
There will be plenty of time for questions!
Join us afterwards at the Cupping Room Cafe where we'll continue the discussion over drinks and/or food. The Cupping Room Cafe is located at 359 W Broadway, two blocks from the venue.
