Dr. Curatola was introduced to us by Dr. Isaac Jones, one of our speakers in May of this year. After meeting him just for the first time, we decided he would make an excellent speaker for the NYPT, and we are thrilled that he will be presenting to us this July.

Bio:
Dr. Gerry Curatola is an internationally recognized aesthetic dentist, oral health expert, researcher, author and wellness pioneer. He is the founder and director of Rejuvenation Dentistry, a unique integrative approach to oral health and restorative dentistry, NYU Clinical Associate Professor, and founder of the Curatola Wing for Clinical Research at New York University.

Dr. Gerry Curatola graduated from Colgate University in 1979 and completed his dental education at New York University College of Dentistry in 1983. After graduating Dr. Curatola received post-doctoral training in integrative nutrition from the Pratt Institute Center for Continuing Education and Professional Studies. He attended Harvard Medical School’s Symposiums in Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) given by the Center for Alternative Medicine Research and Education at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Dr. Curatola has been a member of the teaching faculty at NYU since 1984 serving as a Clinical Instructor in Dental Materials and currently, Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care. As a researcher in dental materials and national lecturing clinician in the field of Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Curatola has assisted with the development of many restorative dental products. Dr. Curatola continues to consult for major dental corporations in the United States and Europe, and lectures internationally on the techniques and benefits of new treatment modalities especially natural, therapeutic approaches to building dental health.

Dr. Curatola has performed extensive research and development of pioneering natural therapeutics that promote oral health, and Dr. Curatola and Dr. Shuch were awarded 3 United States patents for their formulations. Dr. Curatola has private dental practices in both Manhattan and East Hampton, New York. In 1986, he established the Curatola Dental Group, a restorative and cosmetic dental practice in New York City. He founded East Hampton Dental Associates, a multi-specialty practice in 1999. In 2005, he developed Rejuvenation Dentistry, an innovative and integrative approach to oral health that has offices in New York and East Hampton and affiliated offices in London, Paris and Rome.

With nearly 3 decades of humanitarian service and contributions, Dr. Curatola continues to serve in numerous capacities in many charitable organizations.
