Good Aloha Friday hike/beach social at Makapu'u Lighthouse ☀️🏖

The Makapu'u Point Lighthouse Trail offers outstanding views of Oahu's southeastern coastline and the Makapu'u Lighthouse, a historic lighthouse built in 1909. This trail is rated easy to intermediate, is nicely paved, and has amazing views throughout the entire hike!

Distance: ~2.5 miles out and back** Please keep hydrated, wear sunscreen/hat as there is no shade on this trail.
Please bring proper hiking gear and supplies for this event.

If you are not able to meet us group by 8:15am, you are still welcome to join us when you can. Use the event comments section or message me to find out where we are.

**After we reach the top viewpoint of the lighthouse, we will then hike down the trail and chill at the Alan Davis beach 🏖
(Makapu'u Tidepools is also optional) 🐠

For those who want to have a picnic at the beach, feel free to bring/share snacks, drinks with each other (potluck style).

Good Aloha Friday Sunset Hike at Hanauma Bay Trail 🌅

The Hanauma Bay Trail is an easy, but pretty long uphill hike on a paved asphalt road. The trail begins just west of the parking lot for Hanuama Bay Follow the walkway to the top of the ridge.
*We will start from the Koko Head District Park upper parking lot area.

• Wear proper hiking footwear as the rocks, dirt can be dry and slippery.
• Since this hike will be for sunset time, I recommend to bring a light/ headlamp for our descend back down.
• Sunset time: ~6:45pm
• Duration: 1.5 MI/2.4KM (Min 1hr to 1.5 hrs)
• Difficulty: Easy - Moderate
