Night Heron Bar Lake Merritt Run

REMEMBER -- Bring your ID upon entry to the bar. You will need it even if you opt not to drink.

PLEASE NOTE -- There is an event at nearby Fox Theater that night. We recommend using BART, Lyft/Uber or public transit to attend this run.

We will meet at Night Heron in Uptown Oakland, run around Lake Merritt (3.55 miles), and return to the bar for drinks. The meeting time is at 6:30pm, and we usually start the run at 6:40pm.

Night Heron is located just steps from the 19th Street BART station and there is a spot for bike parking. Street parking can be limited, and so, please make an effort to arrive early if you are driving.

Like all runs, we will do our best to prevent people from getting lost (verbal directions and a run route QR code will be provided), and we are very flexible when it comes to pace and distance. All levels of running and drinking experience are welcome!
