The Good Hop is closing! How about one more visit?

The Good Hop is closing after 11 years serving in the Oakland community. We have had so many good memories from our visits there as East Bay Beer Runners (and the second meetup of our existence as Oakland Beer Runners). TGH's final day is New Year's Eve (Wednesday, December 31), and we wanted to make one more visit to the Good Hop before they close their doors forever. That visit is here -- their final Tuesday -- and our final run for 2025!

We will meet at The Good Hop by 6:30pm, start the run 10 minutes later, run around the lake, and return to the beer garden for drinks. The route is just over 3.8 miles with the option to shorten or extend the length.

Like all runs, we will do our best to prevent people from getting lost, and we are very flexible when it comes to pace and distance. All levels of running and drinking experience are welcome!

Street parking can be limited in this area. So, please make an effort to arrive early or take public transit. There are also a few nearby parking garages and lots that are within walking distance from the beer garden (hourly rates on these lots will vary). Like anywhere in Oakland, please do not leave personal items of ANY value in your car if you plan on driving here. The Good Hop is less than a 1/2 mile walk from 19th Street BART, and there is a spot for bike parking.
