Tiger's Taproom's Last Call

It's sad to see Tiger's Taproom close -- this will be their last day. We appreciate Brian and his team for their past business and support. We wanted to join in on their final day of business with one more beer run from their spot as a thank you from us. Expect it to be busy at Tiger's Taproom on this last day, and also, it will likely be a small group of us being there -- considering it is the weekend and on short notice. Plus, it is the final day of SF Beer Week 2026. If you are free for a beer run this Sunday afternoon, join us at Tiger's Taproom for this special farewell event.

We'll be visiting Tiger's Taproom in Jack London Square, and we will run to Lake Merritt -- either a 5k or a 4.28-miler (your choice) -- and then return to Tiger's Taproom for drinks. Tiger's Taproom offers a great selection of beers on tap, beers in bottles/cans and kombucha -- though the selection may be reduced, and they are trying to clear out their inventory on this final day.

Although the meeting time is at 2:00pm, we don't start the actual run until around 2:10pm. Unfortunately, we don't have a spot to keep personal belongings -- considering the crowd that is expected on this final day. So, if you can, bring little and what is necessary for this run, or find an attendee to leave your belongings in their car at your own risk.

Like several places in Oakland, there are car break-ins in the area, and so, please do not leave anything of value in your car to tempt the thieves. Tiger's Taproom is a half-mile from Lake Merritt BART, and there is usually free street parking around Tiger's Taproom. There is also a secured parking garage just a few blocks from the venue. There's plenty of bike parking. Tiger's is dog friendly.

Like all runs, we will do our best to prevent people from getting lost (verbal directions are often provided beforehand and/or QR code with directions is printed), and we are very flexible when it comes to pace and distance. All levels of running and drinking experience are welcome!
