Oakland United Beerworks Lake Merritt Run

We made our last visit as EBBR on August 31, 2021. We're finally back at Oakland United Beerworks as OBR for the group's first visit!

We'll be visiting Oakland United Beerworks in Jack London Square, and we will run to Lake Merritt -- either a 5k or a 4.56-miler (your choice) -- and then return to the taproom for drinks and food (provided by La Cosina Azul).

Although the meeting time is at 6:30pm, we don't start the actual run until around 6:40pm. We will likely have a spot to keep personal belongings (subject to change). Like several places in Oakland, there are car break-ins in the area, and so, please do not leave anything of value in your car to tempt the thieves. Oakland United Beerworks is 3/4-mile from Lake Merritt BART, and there is usually free street parking around the taproom. There is also a secured parking garage just across the venue for a fee. There's plenty of bike parking. Oakland United Beerworks is dog-friendly.

Like all runs, we will do our best to prevent people from getting lost (verbal directions are often provided beforehand and/or QR code with directions is printed), and we are very flexible when it comes to pace and distance. All levels of running and drinking experience are welcome!
