About us
Drinking Liberally is an opportunity for progressive minded folks to get together to share information, opinions, observations, and maybe some jokes. No dues, no roll calls, no Roberts Rules, just convivial conversation and maybe a beverage or two!
Bay Area folks with a progressive outlook, an interest in policy, politics, elections, and related science, art, literature, culture. Gatherings are informal with everyone encouraged to participate in the conversation and to bring up topics.
We meet the first and third Sunday of every month at Lukas in Oakland from 11:30-1:30 pm and the first and third Tuesday at Spice Monkey in Oakland from 6:30-8:30 pm.
