As we embark on another trip around the sun the Mango Menace still squats in the White House planning new assaults on democracy, our Constitution, and our way of life. ICE storm troopers roam our streets attacking our fellow citizens and the rule of law. Billionaire oligarchs subvert our news medial with the enthusiastic assistance of quisling editors while the administrators of our great universities abandon free inquiry and the First Amendment in their hunger for administration favor. The Secretary of Health and Human Services openly facilitates pestilence and death in service of crack pot medical beliefs. A feckless opposition leadership has thus far proven unequal to the moment. Yet hope remains in recent election returns, popularity polls, and a new generation of leaders in NYC, Detroit, Seattle, and Governors of Virginia and New Jersey. What is your expectation for 2026? A blue wave? An Epstein forced resignation?
