Modern Square Dance Class

Modern Square Dancing is a fun way to get some exercise and meet new friends. We learn the names of the basic movements and then do them on the fly to the instructions of a live caller. It's like an adult game of Simon Says with a team of 8 people all going in different directions, in time to a variety of music. You don't have to be a dancer; you just have to follow directions and walk in patterns.

Our next beginner's class starts on Aug 26. This is a 16-week class, with a few more calls taught each week. At the end of the class, you'll be able to dance with many clubs around the Bay Area and around the world. $195 for the whole package, which includes membership in the club and a club badge.

No experience required. No dance skill required. Come on your own or with a partner. Our friendly club members will help you through the whole process!

Casual dress. Comfortable shoes with soles that aren't too grippy.
No alcohol. No smoking.
