The Magic of UX Grammar

Welcome to the very first OOUX Happy Hour! To kick off this new group, we have Daniel Rosenburg joining us.

Dan is the author of UX Magic, the last book we read (and loved) in OOUX Book Club. Here's a snippet of his resume:

• VP of UI Design at Oracle for 11 years
• Head of Global UX for SAP for 7 years
• Currently a UX Professor at San Jose State and a UX Strategy consultant to clients all over the world, from Fortune 500s to start-ups.

In Dan's Lecture, he will give us a tour of his UX Magic framework, focusing on the foundation: UX Grammar. You'll learn how to create an Action-Object Matrix that illustrates the "conceptual grammar" of your system. Then, to reduce cognitive load (and screens!) you'll learn to compress that matrix, making it as dense as possible. As it turns out—

UX Magic is actually a repeatable, learnable science.
