A REAL Happy Hour

Details

New format! We are coming back to the original meaning of a Happy Hour: a gathering time with drinks (boozy or not), people, shmoozing, and conversation. During the hour we will host four 10-minute small-group convos, each with new faces. During each discussion we will provide you with a juicy discussion prompt that loosely ties to the ORCA Process.
Here’s an example outline; the actual discussion prompts will be announced at the event.

O: Tell the story of an object you loved as a kid.
R: Talk about an important relationship at from one of your first jobs.
C: What new hobby or activity has been presenting you with a call-to-action?
A: What’s something significant about your birthday attribute?

Gloriously, nerdy-but-fun, right? And this is of course just to get the convo flowing. Discussing the awesomeness of OOUX or just venting about the tech industry is highly encouraged.

*Please only RSVP if you are practicing OOUX in some capacity. Thank you!*

For this event (and maybe the next few, we will see how it goes), we will focus on the goal of simply getting to know each other, having some fun connecting, and practicing a little improv storytelling (pretty important for UXers!).

We might go back to doing some presentations — but for now, let's just hang.

See you there!
