Haster Basin Garden Grove Easy Bird Walk

Let’s take a leisurely stroll around Haster Basin and see what birds we can find. Spring is almost here and that means some bird species will be singing! This park has a flat, paved trail and it is one mile around the basin.

Bring binoculars if you have a pair, water, sunscreen, and layers. I have an extra pair of binoculars

Meet at tne grassy area by the Haster Basin parking lot, there is an entrance to the loop trail here. Please note that unhoused people frequent this park and it is an area that has had issues with crime, so be aware if these are potential issues for you. I have never had any problems here walking alone. Don’t leave any valuables in your car.
