Easy Bird Walk at San Joaquin Marsh Irvine for Fall Migration
Details
Hi all! It's peak migration time in Orange County, so let's meet at one of the best birding locations: The San Joaquin Marsh. Fall migration means that a lot of birds that are unusual for this area show up. Recent sightings include Costa's Hummingbird, Wilson's Snipe, and American Pipits. Below is a list of birds that have been spotted here recently.
We will meet at the benches by the lower parking lot that overlooks the pond. Be sure to put 5 Riparian View in your GPS. This event will end sharply at 9:55 as there is a volunteer appreciation event happening at the same location that I will be attending at 10:00.
This location has bathrooms and water refill stations. Parking should be plentiful at 8:00 despite the event happening later. I will have an extra pair of binoculars to lend.

Hope to see you there!
