Let's try this again! A 3rd time!
Hi all! Let's meet here for a lazy bird walk. I recently broke 2 toes and my mobility is a little limited. We will meet at the lower parking lot overlooking a large pond. From here, we will scan the marsh with my new scope. Then, we will take a short walk around the marsh.

The 2nd part of this event is one I've been wanting to host: Nature and/or Bird Journaling! This part of the event is totally optional and I will bring supplies. As we spend the first hour observing nature, keep your eyes out for things you might want to write or draw about.

After our walk, we will convene at the covered picnic tables by the Audubon House and do some journaling. I will bring notebooks, colored pencils, and other supplies. Feel free to bring your own materials if you have some! If you've never tried nature journaling, it's a great way to de-stress and connect more with nature. I'll include some of my journal pages so you can see how casual it can be--no skill required.

Be sure to put 5 Riparian View in your GPS!! We will meet at the benches by the lower parking lot by the benches that overlook the pond.

This location has bathrooms and water refill stations. I will have an extra pair of binoculars to lend.
