What we're about

Local, lighter, and later. Most of our walks are local and geared towards women with busy schedules. The goal is to get some exercise while socializing and enjoying the beautiful parks in trails Orange County has to offer. Request for specific hikes or walks in are totally welcomed.

*RSVPing to any event posted by this group means you assume responsibility for your own personal safety and well being.

# What is there to do at the Hana Field Pumpkin Patch?
## If you are looking for a more mellow pumpkin patch experience, the Hana Field Pumpkin Patch is for you!
With 8 acres of U-Pick Pumpkins and endless fields of blooming flowers, you can spend as long as you like wandering around for that perfect fall photo op! We will also have a Corn Maze, Flower Picking (when available, depending on bloom availability), a small Barnyard animal exhibit with chickens, bunnies, and goats, a play area, Cow Train, Arts and Crafts, Root Shoot (shoots turnips1), and a Pumpkin Cannon.
Bring a stroller or wagon to help carry your pumpkins. Wheelbarrows are not available, and Hana Field employees will not be able to assist carrying pumpkins out to your vehicles.
You must bring your own cutting utensils (sunflowers have very thick stems, so bring a sharp cutter or serrated knife) and gardening gloves (especially if you have sensitive skin).
Pumpkins also have thick stems, so bringing your own cutter is highly recommended!
All children must remain close to their parent/guardian at all times. The field is large, and with uneven ground. It is easy for children to get lost or injured. Please keep your kids close!
We are a real working farm! The fields can get quite muddy, so closed-toe shoes that you don't mind getting dirty are a must. We also recommend long pants, or long socks, as stinging nettles (weeds) grow all around the farm. Also, bees love sunflowers, so if you have an allergy, beware that there will be a lot of bees on the premises. In addition to bees, farms do attract a lot of insects. If this is something that might bother you, make sure to use bug spray, or dress accordingly.
