Pre-trip orientation:

Attendance at orientation is required. Please mark your calendar for the more convenient date/location and plan to attend. If due to extenuating circumstances, you cannot attend one of the scheduled orientations, we will schedule by phone for you. Please be aware that it's best for everyone if you attend one of the in-person meetings where we will impart important need-to-know details about the trip, and you'll get to meet some of the folks who are coming along.

About this trip:

Brrrrrr! February makes me shiver, with every .... wait... that's a song... but it's TRUE! But it also makes February just about the best time to get out of dodge here in the northeast. Last year while we were blowing bubbles underwater and basking in the sunshine, we missed a huge burst of cold (low temps were hovering around 4˚F (!!) on some days in mid-February 2017, YIKES!), so join us for winter break and take some of the frost off with us in sunny Mexico!

This is our TENTH adventure to the sunny island of Cozumel, just opposite the Yucatan peninsula, known for great beaches, beautiful water, and of course, great diving! Enjoy 8 days/7 nights of fun and sun in this late February getaway**!

We're staying at El Cid Resorts La Ceiba, which is just a short boat ride to the best dive sites on Palancar and Columbia Reefs (part of the second largest barrier reef system in the world) and it's all inclusive. As usual, we will provide options for those who would like to go into town to partake of some of the amazing dining options in the town of San Miguel, but with all that's included, this is a serious bargain!

Enjoy 5 days of boat diving with our package, and for an additional $40 you can take advantage of unlimited shore diving (kind of like a mini Dive Your FACE Off - DYFO). The diving right off the dock at La Ceiba is great, with the remnants of a plane wreck just offshore, it's a fish magnet! We've seen bigger animals like southern and spotted rays hanging out and hunting in this area as well. And if you've never been diving on Palancar Reef, well, you're in for a treat! HUGE reef structures and big fish in the marine park which is protected from fishing!
