Details
Let's join our friends at Braver Angels.
*In-Person only and space is limited so please RSVP both here on Meetup and Eventbrite. Free & open to all! Reserve your seat today.
This event begins with a powerful introduction to implicit bias—what it is, how it affects our thinking, and why it matters. Then, we’ll put that understanding into action through open, respectful dialogue on today’s most pressing political issues. You’ll have the opportunity to ask honest questions and engage across the aisle in a way that builds understanding and connection.
At Braver Angels, we often refer to Reds and Blues—but everyone is welcome at the table, including moderates, independents, Libertarians, Greens, and anyone in between. What unites us is our shared human experience, and every voice matters.
Join Braver Angels Orange County for an interactive workshop that explores how implicit bias shapes our political conversations—and how to overcome it. In a time of growing division, this session offers tools to recognize unconscious assumptions, build empathy, and engage in more constructive dialogue across the political spectrum. We would love your participation and engagement. This session is ideal for anyone seeking to reduce polarization and communicate more effectively—whether red, blue, or something in between.
Takeaways:
- Understand what implicit bias is and how it affects political interactions
- Learn strategies to interrupt bias and build bridges
- Practice respectful, empathetic dialogue with others
Join us for a meaningful conversation and help bridge the divide.
