Mother's Day Program - Mothers, Infants, and Kangaroo Care

Virginia Bernal, Lactation Consultant at UCI Medical Center, will give a special Mother’s Day presentation:

The Biology of Mothering; infant and maternal synchrony--

An evolutionary and developmental perspective of Mothering

She will do a short introduction and show the video "Kangaroo Mother Care." Following the short film, Virginia will answer questions. Hopefully we can discuss the many ways that the new and better way of mother-infant bonding relates to the many issues that pertain to humanism. .
