Jason Turner, co-host of CppCast and host of C++ Weekly, will be guiding us through C++ Best Practices in:
Best Practices LIVE!
"No one knows exactly what will happen in a Best Practices LIVE meetup event, but Jason will conduct a mass, mob-style code reviewing session of some C++ samples. As a group we will decide how the code can be improved and a good future direction for the code.
Anyone planning to attend can submit a code sample for review. If your code gets accepted you'll get a special edition exclusive "I had my code reviewed at a Best Practices LIVE event" t-shirt (you need to submit your code sample and what style/size of t-shirt you prefer at least 2 weeks before the event).
To have your code considered for review, submit it to [masked]. It can be a snippet, a sample, or a link to an existing project. Just make sure you have the appropriate rights to share the code."
After Jasons session we will have a panel on Compile-time Execution, I will come back with details on the panelists when they have been confirmed.
Food will be available and we will start the session once everyone has grabbed some :D
The event is, as always, free and is held on the night before the conference sessions start at NDC TechTown. If you'd like to attend the conference, please reach out for a discount code!
