Details
Jim is engaged to a spoiled rich girl, but the morning after his drunken bachelor party, he wakes up to find that an angel has crash-landed in his swimming pool. When he recovers from his hangover, he takes her inside, where it’s obvious that she has a broken wing. Until it heals, she can’t fly home, so while she recuperates he does his best to keep her safe and hidden – especially from his fiancée. This feature was excoriated by critics and audiences upon its release, primarily due to its obvious imitation of Splash (1984). However, in the following years opinions have improved; the story may be derivative, but it’s well done and fun.
