Time travel is, alas, a messy and haphazard affair. In the future it’s monitored by an organization that tries to maintain order; when a “time leak” occurs, an agent is dispatched to the affected location in space and time to repair it. Both a leak and an agent appear in a London pub where three local fellows are discussing – what a coincidence – time-travel as a plot element in science fiction. One of them visits the loo, steps into the time leak, and then the agent’s assignment suddenly gets a lot more complicated.
