紅葉ハイク and Okonomi-yaki, Tako-yaki cooking at Shenandoah (Easy 3.5 miles hike)

• What we'll do
紅葉がピークを迎えるShenandoah National ParkのStorny Manの山頂まで登ろう！ Shenandoah公園の特徴はハイウェイから眺める美しい山並みと、管理の行き届いたハイキングトレイル。アメリカ東部を3500kmも貫くアパラチアントレイルの一部です。距離はおよそ3.5マイル。I will carry DSRL camera, ゆっくり歩きます. Ask me take photo. ソールのしっかりしたウォーキング/ハイキングシューズde kite kudasaiをお忘れなく。 山頂はずっと寒いので防寒と日光対策をお忘れなく。 After hiking, we will go to picnic site for cooking okonomiyaki and takoyaki.

Let's hike at peak fall foliage trail towards the top of the Storny Man at Shenandoah National Park. Shenandoah National Park has a beautiful mountain scenery and well maintained trail. We walk along a part of famous 2100 miles Appalachian Trail. We walk slowly and I will bring camera, so ask me to take photos of unique vegetation, scenery, and you. Puppy isn't allowed on the trail. Don't forget to wear walking or hiking shoes with firm sole. Mountain is chilly. Windbreaker, warm clothing and sunscreen are important. Let's enjoy a break at top of the mountain. After good exercise, we will go to picnic area and making Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki over there, not frozen one, we fry it there.
If weather is not great, we will reschedule to two week later on Saturday.

Restroom at Skyland Lodge. Please, go to a rest stop before start.

Shenandoah Annual Pass: $55/year for driver and 3 passengers (Recommended)

-If your or someone's condition seems not to be good, call it out. It is important for drivers.

• You don't have to speak in Japanese. Theme is enjoying fun activities. Conversation in Japanese about Japanese cultures, foods, etc are fun and good practice.
