Make friends by asking these 36 questions

Details
We’re hosting an experimental gathering that can help you make friends. We are going to use the famous 36 Questions study by psychologist Arthur Aron, which showed how structured curiosity (asking each other these 36 questions) can spark real closeness and friendship between strangers.
The original 1997 science paper is called "The Experimental Generation of Interpersonal Closeness". You can read it here: https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf/10.1177/0146167297234003 The list of questions is at the end, on PDF page 12. Although The New York Times branded them in 2015 as the “36 Questions to Fall in Love,” the original study shows that asking these questions can help form and strengthen any relationship—including friendships, which is exactly what our meetup is about.
What will be happening described here: https://ggia.berkeley.edu/practice/36_questions_for_increasing_closeness
See you around!
