Join the Offline Women Book Club, a dedicated space for women to disconnect from the digital noise and discuss in person uplifting books that leave us feeling inspired and empowered.

For our second book, we are reading The Peace of Wild Things by Wendell Berry. In this book, Berry challenges how we find stillness and belonging in a fast-paced world.

He argues that true belonging is found by reconnecting with the natural world and the grace of things that do not worry about the future. It’s a powerful guide on finding peace within ourselves and learning how to remain present and grounded as we welcome spring.

Snippet from the book:
When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

We can't wait to see how the book resonate with you and to engage in uplifting discussions. Spots are limited to ensure the group remains small, intimate, and everyone has a great time connecting face-to-face.
