Wheeler Pass - Friday night drive

Sorry for the short notice, Tom and Gregg just decided to head for Wheeler Pass Friday night to checkout the camp sites for future camping trips.

Wheeler Pass is an all-time local favorite trail near the north-western mountains. The trail may differ depends on the weather that may bring boulders and ruts to make it challenging. The Summit is the tip of the trail where there's an amazing view as far as your eyes can see. Down this trail will take you through some tree forest where there you can reach the Campsites.

Trail Rated: 3-4 (Rough, Ruts and possible Boulders)

Route: We will meetup and air down at Cold Creek (staging area).
We will stop at the summit to give everyone time taking pictures and have a break for food & snacks. We'll also stop to check out the camp sites on the way down to the Pahrump side.

Minimum Requirements:
• 4x4 with AT or MT tires
• Working full size spare tire
• Food, snacks and lots of water
• Warm clothing in case of chilly weather at higher elevations
• Knowledge of and means to air down and air up your tires
• GMRS radio is recommended
