Goldstrike Loop

Goldstrike Canyon offers a unique view of the Hoover Dam area. After a few miles of easy dirt you'll immediately climb up a narrow shelf road high above the lake level. The loop is entirely a shelf road of the mountain cliff, not for the faint of heart. The route travels along the northern edge of the Black Canyon Wilderness, a rugged desert landscape running along the Colorado River.

Trail Rated: 2 (with Cliffside shelf road)
"not gonna put it as rated 1 as we cannot do the whole loop with a low clearance off-road vehicle"

Minimum Requirements:
• Intermediate experienced drivers
• Not afraid of cliff shelf roads
• 4X4 with a small clearance is prepared
• Food, snacks and lots of drinks
• Good working spare tire
• Knowledge of managing your tire pressure
• Communication Radios are encouraged

Notes: From the Gas Station we have about a couple of miles of drive before we hit dirt.
Slow steady phase, no obstacles but great views.

Shake down run for the Hummer.
I had parts worn out and the best way to replace them are upgrades:
4 upper control arms
4 shock absorbers (with externals)
4 tires (38s)
and I wanted to know how it rolls on dirt after all these upgrades.
thou I don't have a spare tire yet, so taking it easy with this trail.
