Railroad Canyon from Sloan
Details
Railroad Canyon is a fun trail close to Las Vegas. It starts off of South Las Vegas Blvd, follows the train tracks under the interstate then swings under an old tunnel under the tracks. The trail is rated difficult due to the section in the wash with the ledges and waterfall climbs. On the GPX track, this would be the Southwest section of the trail shaped like a "C." The rest of the trail is moderate, mainly due to several steep hill climbs.
I do have recorded my own track which will makes us enter the dirt in Sloan.
Ending time is a guess.
This is not a drive for beginners
Recommended:
Your best camera: we love seeing your pictures.
Any off-road capable vehicle (jeep rating 5 because a few obstacles).
GMRS radio is encouraged but not required.
Mandatory:
A/T tires or mud tires (I mean no street tires) in good condition and a working full size spare tire.
Food, snacks, plenty of water.
You are welcome to have guests in your vehicle and are responsible for their behavior.

Also, the event has limited spots available so: please keep your attendance up to date, do not be afraid to be on the waiting list and check your status regularly.
Organizers are all volunteers, on-site donations are appreciated to help paying for the Meetup and legal group fees as well prizes for the annual raffle.
