What we’re about
The Sacramento Backpackers Meetup is all about backpacking. Founded in 2006, and based in Northern California, we're a place to share ideas, plan trips, debate gear, and most importantly make friends in a safe environment.
Note that there is now a $5 fee to join The Sacramento Backpackers.
Come and spend an overnight trip out in the wilderness with us, or better yet plan one here! Recent trips include California's Lost Coast, Trinity Alps, Granite Chief Wilderness, and many in the Sierra Nevada's.
