About us
Welcome to the creative side of Ogden.
This group is all about getting out of the house, making something with your hands, meeting good people, and being part of a creative community. We host hands on classes, art nights, live music, open mic nights, community events, and beginner friendly workshops at The Local Artisan Collective in downtown Ogden.
Some events are free, some are low-cost, and many are designed so you can just drop in and create without pressure or experience.
You’ll find things like:
- Free Community Craft Nights
- Open Mic & Round Table Nights
- Observational Painting Classes
- Art Stroll events
- Music @ The Collective
- Fix-It Days
- DIY art and craft workshops
- Drop-in creative projects
Whether you’re an artist, totally new to creativity, looking for something different to do, or just hoping to meet kind and creative people, you’re welcome here.
The Local Artisan Collective is home to over 30 local artists and makers, and we believe creativity should feel accessible, inspiring, and fun.
Come make something with us.

Featuring: Music by Sammy Brue
A 21st-century troubadour who spins layered story songs that deal with the sunlight and shadows of the human condition, Sammy Brue follows in the authentic outlaw songwriter lineage of Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Rodney Crowell, and Justin Townes Earle. Brue’s new album, The Journals, pays tribute to his mentor by writing, finishing, or re-imagining never-before-recorded songs taken directly from Earle’s journals, entrusted to Sammy by Justin’s widow.
