Cooking Lab

This practice lab is designed to help me/ us develop and strengthen foundational cooking skills through hands-on experience. Using concepts from the book Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat, students will explore how these essential elements contribute to creating balanced and flavorful dishes.
During the lab, we will focus on building core techniques, particularly knife skills and proper salting methods. Students will practice safe and efficient cutting techniques, as well as learn how to season food effectively to enhance taste and texture.
All activities will utilize low-cost to improve our skills.
